Lancashire Dog Training

Steve has been brilliant in training my Labrador Bonnie. I reached out to him as I was struggling to control her on walks and around the house which was making my family's life very stressful. Fast forward 6 months and mine and Bonnie's lives have completed changed. I have gone from avoiding other dogs on walks at all costs to being able to allow her to be off lead and run around in the lakes and other popular places. I have even been able to take her camping which is something I thought was impossible before Steve's help. I would recommend him to anyone as I am confident he has the ability to help any dog live it's best life.

I have absolutely loved our training sessions with Steve and after working with him I can confidently say his methods work with any owner and any dog. The results we had were amazing. The training is so much more than just teaching commands like ‘sit’ and ‘here’, and it really builds chemistry and a natural and healthy relationship. I cant recommend Steve enough. Whether you have a problematic dog, or you think some training will really help you and your dog make each other happy, I can promise you Steve will show you a whole different side to training than you have never seen in any blogs or youtube videos.

Steve has been such an incredible help to both of us and our Dalmatian. We came to Steve wanting help with recall, pulling and reacting to dogs on lead and it's like she's a whole new dog now! We had been to other trainers when Eva was a puppy, but Steve was the first to tell it to us straight that we had to put in the work to build our relationship with her with play. It completely changed our mindset and it makes it fun for us both, she is now so obsessed with playing ball and we have completely ditched the training treats. The collar has also been such a big help, Steve knew I was hesitant, but after a trial run I've never looked back (he's always right!) Honestly, alongside working on the 'heel' command, she can now walk to heel without pulling over us or family and we can walk past other dogs without worrying. I couldn't recommend Steve enough, he has been brilliant all the way through and he has a great space for training which Eva loved. He's great at communicating and is always happy to hear from you with videos or questions anytime.

Steve has been brilliant in training my cocker spaniel puppy, Bertie soaked up all Steve taught him and as a result is a great well behaved companion - I also learnt so much! Steve gave me the confidence I initially lacked with my precious new puppy. I could and do easily recommend him to others.

In December 2022, I was facing a serious challenge with my German Shepherd's behavior. He wasn't recalling, chasing after runners, and jumping up on people, making it impossible to let him off the lead. Feeling overwhelmed, I called Steve (in tears) , hoping for a solution. We began attending Steve's sessions twice a month, and the results were nothing short of incredible. Today, my German Shepherd is a well-behaved dream dog! He walks beside me, heels perfectly, and his recall is flawless, even when other dogs are playing nearby. I couldn't have asked for a better outcome. There simply aren't enough words to describe how much Steve has helped us. Thanks to his guidance and support, I now have a dog who wears an e-collar and can go hiking off-lead, even around sheep, with complete control. It's been a life-changing transformation. Steve's training has truly made all the difference. I no longer feel pulled and dragged around during walks; instead, I walk side by side with my obedient and happy dog. I owe it all to Steve's dedication and expertise. I highly recommend Steve to anyone seeking help with their dog. He's a true professional and has turned my German Shepherd into the best companion I could ever ask for.
