Just returned from my mothers funeral and I had to write a review. Livesey’s handled everything with, charm, dignity and compassion. They have handled many of our family funerals and I wouldn’t think of going elsewhere. They just somehow manage to make a heartbreaking day that little bit easier. Thank you. Sarah

If there were 10 stars I would have picked that. From start to finish B Livesey Ltd were caring, thoughtful and professional and nothing was too much trouble, right down to the little gifts. I would recommend them to anyone in the sad position of losing a loved one. Thank you very much from us all.

Mr Livesey and his team have been simply amazing in looking after my sister. Our loss was very sudden and unexpected and they supported us every step of the way. They took care of my sister so respectfully and helped us in the most difficult of times. Cannot recommend them enough. Our day and tribute could not have been more perfect. Written from my heart 5 stars...?. My father passed away recently & I chose Liveseys funeral directors in Chorley. I worried about all the arrangements, the funeral, the organisation of the reception, the ashes, the Cortege etc. Speaking to Tony Livesey he was compassionate, patient & reassuring. Through him he guided me through the protocol, timings, flowers, ashes, even the music, the ministers visit to our house with a prayer & producing/framing Dads photo for the hearse & the Crematorium. He took myself & my wife to see the simply stunning Rolls Royce hearse & Rolls Royce procession cars that would be ours for the duration. He spent time talking to us & I have to say a massive weight had been lifted. On the day the Cortege arrived exactly when he said it would even reversing the three huge cars into a very narrow winding private driveway so guests didn't have to walk 100yds to the road. Tony then walked in front of the Cortege from near Gillibrand hall all the way down the hill to Burgh Wood way. The whole day was absolutley faultless & carried out with military style precision timing. I don't want to sound corny but myself & my family owe a huge thanks to Tony & his staff for their services. This was a sad day for us but a proud day for my Dad & more importantly myself his son....absolutely incredible!. Its hard to get excited about a funeral but I'll tell you now...If you're looking for an efficient/compassionate/skilled funeral director who really cares...you're at the right place. 10 stars in my book.
