Shaw Hill Golf Resort & Spa Hotel

Just returned from an overnight stay at a friend's Wedding , the location, staff, service and food were all excellent, the rooms however let the venue down, as are very dated and damp smelling, which for the cost, you would have expected more

We booked for a couple get away deal during April. The food was delicious. The room was fantastic. Some of the servers let it down though. Just seemed unhappy to be there and not very friendly. Most of the staff were great and made up for the others. Absolutely brilliant atmosphere and fantastic deal. They also were more than happy to accommodate requests on food changes.

Wedding party weekend--- really enjoyed it, BUT-- could do with a bit of upgrading now---( for prices charged) and no lift for 3floors-( I found stairs hard with a bad leg!! ). Lovely venue- lovely grounds- and really lovely staff. ❤️

Excellent venue for a wedding or if you needed somewhere to stay overnight. The staff are incredibly helpful and professional but also nice as well which you don't find too often anymore. Highly recommended!
