Recently moved to Colchester and been on search finding a trustworthy and very experienced tailors in this area since i work in luxury industry I was in desperate need to have a company/people who I can rely on with my projects and any alterations. I had to choose carefully with whom I work, so after reading all reviews on google I decided to try Island Dry Cleaners. They appeared to be very efficient and reasonable with the prices. Very polite and friendly staff. Now they earned my trust and I became their loyal customer.

Dry cleaned an evening dress of my wife’s that had a stain, and they got it out - great job! Many dry cleaners come and go in Colchester but Island remain because they are good at what they do.

Excellent customer service, very friendly and accommodating staff. I am satisfied with the dry cleaning result of my custom tailored three piece suit, which sustained some nasty dried stains after a night's worth of celebration. Price wise the service is affordable and worth every penny. Would recommend! Fun facts I got from the staff, the business has a tradition that goes back to the 70s. It's been handed over in between two families.

Imran and his team are absolutely fantastic. Not only is their dry cleaning so very beautifully carried out, but they can tackle the most difficult cleaning jobs on very expensive, intricate garments. Also, their pricing is very fair, and they acknowledge our loyalty too. We have also asked them to make alterations on several delicate garments, and it’s always beautifully carried out. Simply the best dry cleaner we have ever experienced and they are highly recommended!

I had 2 trousers and a skirt altered here, the service was exceptional. Quick response to my query, reasonably priced, alterations themselves were prefect and done very quickly. Would recommend and will bring all alterations/dry cleaning here in the future.
