We have sadly lost two elderly family members in the past 18 months and we asked gwinnells to take care of their funeral arrangements, having been recommended by a family friend. their whole approach was professional, they are extremely helpful and friendly and i wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone else.
Please could you pass on my thanks to everyone involved in the service for dad today. from the drive brilliantly executed to the cemetery to the dignity and professionalism of matt, it was very much appreciated. the recommendation of jim to conduct the service was also fantastic - his words really helped today. would recommend to anyone as a wonderful company to deal with at a very emotional time.
Mr gwinnell and his team recently handled the funeral of a family member for us. we do not live in the area and chose them almost by luck. they could not have done a better job. we are full of praise for their discretion , compassion, understanding and attention to detail with traditional values. i highly recommend this firm.
I cannot praise the team at r gwinnell and sons enough. they helped me through the most difficult part of my life. my wife died late last year and roy and the team put together a first class funeral for her. the help and advice was second to none. nothing was too much trouble and they helped and guided me all the way through the process. thank you to all the team there.
When my cousin passed away with instructions that she only wanted me at her funeral i was lost as to how this would work. a direct cremation seemed far too impersonal but i couldn’t imagine a service with only me present. i was so glad i went to gwinnell’s as matthew was really caring and helpful. he arranged for me to sit in the lovely, peaceful chapel of rest with flowers on my cousin’s coffin. it was just what my cousin would have wanted before being driven to the crematorium. thank you everyone at gwinnell’s
