I work for helping hands Colchester branch. I have to say everyone has been very friendly and supportive. I have been given amazing opportunity’s to further my education and training. My manager and the office staff are always very helpful and just amazing. Anyone considering going into care I would highly recommend.

I have worked for helping hands for nearly two years. I can honestly say I feel very proud of where I work and love my job. The people I visit are lovely, and I know that everyday I can make a difference to someone’s life. The training is very good, and any extra information or training is available. The carers I work with are amazing, a strong team spirit. I know I can ring the office for support or information, and it’s always available.

Totally brilliant in every way!!!!! professional, supportive, just simply the best!! I changed career having worked in retail for 26yrs. I avoided care as had heard not good things however I was so very wrong having worked for helping hands now since 2019 I wish I had joined sooner! I love the job, I love the support, I feel sooo much happier and valued than I’ve ever felt in previous job. The office are amazing always there for you no matter time of day or night and day of the week I couldn’t recommend helping hands enough!
