Koryu

I went for a dinner here with my partner. We were greeted with a beautiful smile and shown a table for two. The staff was very friendly and happy to explain us the menu as we both prefer spicy foods. Everything was top notch. We both have tried Katsu Curry in more than 4-5 countries but surprisingly, it was the best katsu curry we ever had. 5/5.

We went to dine at Koryu on Sunday, ordering from the £12 set menu which offered great value. We ordered the Seafood sushi set meal and the Seafood Udon set meal. The food was fresh and we were given big portions. The food was immaculate and I would definitely go back again.

Amazing food! One of the best places in Colchester. Flavours was really unique and most importantly authentic 👌🏻 Genuinely tops Wagamama and other local restaurants within the area :-)

Small restaurant serving decent food with good vegan options. Pleasant atmosphere with good service. (Someone should tell them that tempura vegetables are not deep fried with a coating of panko breadcrumbs though!)

Return visit to this outstanding Japanese restaurant in the centre of Colchester. Intimate setting with personal service and delicious freshly cooked dishes, we thoroughly enjoyed all the selections we made. Definitely order dishes to share, generous sized portions. Lunchtime special offer 20% discount between 12-4pm on food and beverages. Highly recommended 5*
