Definitive Decorating

Simon has done a fantastic job on our living room, kitchen, hall and stairs. we look forward to welcoming him back later in the year to do the rest of the rooms!

I’m quite picky about who i get in to do work in our home so often rely on impartial google reviews to ‘hopefully’ help steer us in the right direction. pleased with what i’d read, being local too, i asked definitive decorating for a quotation. simon came on the weekend and followed up with a competitive quote by email. unfortunately, by the time we got back to simon he was booked up on some bigger jobs so we had to wait 2 months before he could book our job in. i didn’t mind that tbh, it show’s he’s busy (which is good) and we were in no rush. sadly for simon, he started on the hottest week of the year (in history), but none the less did a fantastic job of painting our hall, stairs, landing and downstairs wc. simon completed the job on time, to highest quality and was professional throughout. thank you google reviewers (again) and simon for doing a great job. would recommend definitive decorating without hesitation and will definitely use them again in the future.

Simon redecorated a home office for us, and we could not have been more pleased with the result. he came to survey exactly when we arranged, then arrived on the dot on the first day. a very pleasant workman to have in the house, he had meticulous attention to detail and completely transformed a very dated space. wholeheartedly recommend and will use again.

Simon recently wallpapered our lounge, hallway and spare room. he was extremely punctual, polite, professional and friendly. his work is of a very high standard and he is very tidy as he goes. we are very pleased with the outcome and would have no hesitation in recommending simon to others needing a hand with interior decorating. in addition, simon also has a good sense of humour, which was especially appreciated when he witnessed us trying to assemble a complicated flat pack unit. he even lent us his cordless drill to save us time! thanks simon 😊
