Basic park for under 6 years olds
Beautiful green space aside the river colne, so often a good spot to encounter swans, geese, ducks, etc. the riverbank paths are either grass or paved & well maintained, (despite what other people have recorded here). east hill park adjoins colchester castle park, & the route towards is clearly marked for the benefit of hikers & mountain bikers...
I love the long riverside road to connect east hill park and castle park. it's suitable for birdwatchers, dogwalkers, bikeriders, and runners.
Just amazing. really. spent a day waiting for my coach to stansted just a couple of days ago. time flew by. amazing atmosphere!! beautiful scenery. loved it!
