Such infectious enthusiasm for maths which gives her teaching the depth you need for top grades. always knows how to explain things in lots of ways if you are struggling with a particular topic. easy to approach and knows her students very well.

Whilst i haven’t been tutored by her, mrs parker was my maths teacher at crgs in year 9 and throughout a-levels. i wouldn’t be where i am without the quality of her teaching, she made lessons enjoyable and interactive which helped to no end with making progress, and gaining a deeper understanding of the content.

Incredible teaching, which i have no doubt can be partly credited to her genuine enthusiasm and passion for maths. her ability to break things down into manageable chunks lends itself to a productive learning experience. moreover, she challenges her students to think deeply about the topics being covered and encourages them to ask questions. in doing so, she is not just teaching the content but also developing critical problem-solving skills in every one of her students.

I was lucky enough to be taught by mrs parker in sixth form (achieving a*s in maths and further maths currently studying maths and econ at lse) and i highly recommend her effective way of teaching. mrs parker makes learning about mathematics more enjoyable whilst maintaining the rigour required to perform well in exams. you can definitely tell the effort she puts into her lessons and how well they’re structured. she is great for all abilities and levels of maths, as long as you want to improve, as she is very understanding with students. definitely recommend again.

I was taught a-level maths and further maths by mrs parker. she clearly explained concepts and eloquently guided me through questions and concepts i struggled with. thanks to her, i achieved an a* in maths and an a in further maths and i'm currently studying aeronautical engineering at imperial college london. she's kind, understanding and approachable resulting in maths lessons being more interesting! she's the correct level of strict as she makes sure you do what you need to do while not being overbearing. anyone being taught by her is certain to improve by leaps and bounds while also not being bored out of their minds!
