The Foresters Arms Colchester

Fun, friendly and cozy local Colchester pub. Slightly tucked away but well worth searching out. Friendly and professional staff, good food and importantly clean beer. A nice changing selection of Ales. Definitely one to recommend. A large car park is situated close by if that’s your thing, bus stops also a two minute walk.

Beautiful little pub that caters to all...even the dogs are made to feel very welcome with a choice of treats....and the best roast I've had the rib of beef was cooked to perfection so so nice I'd definitely take my family back time and time again 😋 xxx

As soon as you walk in, you will love this pub. The atmosphere is congenial and the food/drink is exceptional. The staff are amongst the friendliest I've had the pleasure to be served by and nothing, absolutely nothing is too much trouble. Five stars indeed.

Really friendly, great food and efficient service. Came today and was warmly welcomed. Ordered food which was served quickly. Food was delicious especially the pork and chicken which was really succulent. Thanked the young chef, who was really enthusiastic about his cooking. Best roast in Colchester so far!

We enjoyed a lovely Sunday lunch at the Forester’s Arms. We had the gammon and beef roast dinners and it was cooked beautifully. Service was excellent and our server, Roanie, made sure that our experience was very good. Would thoroughly recommend.
