My wife and I have only recently moved to the area and registered our four cats with Mayne. The service we have received so far from all staff there has been wonderful, especially when caring very recently for one of the cats who unfortunately had to be put to sleep. The care and compassion shown was second to none and we are both very grateful for this. Thank you all .

Took my 3month old puppy to Mayne vets today and from the moment we stepped foot in the vet, we were welcomed with such a calming enviroment. Ziggy was very nervous and everyone was amazing. Charlotte was Ziggys vet and she did a fantastic job keeping him calm especially after getting a vaccine and during the appointment I was told so much information which was great and not to mention I can take Ziggy for confidence appts to help with his anxiety so the visit to vet doesn't always result in cries and shakes.

We had to use this incredible vets in an emergency some weeks ago, I absolutely love them and have now transferred all 3 of my dogs into their care. Both Charlotte and Keith are wonderfully kind and full of empathy and support, Charlotte has a very welcoming and soft voice and shes just so gentle. I feel confident and happy to bring our dogs in, knowing they will always go above and beyond to help them and us.

Cannot thank the staff enough for making our little pup better after an awful few days of gastroenteritis, she was so poorly. They were amazing, so kind, caring and went above and beyond. What a team. We know our pup is in the best hands here and will receive the best treatment. They truly are our furbabys heroes! So grateful to have them as our local vet.

After 21 years being as a customer for ( Mayne Veterinary Clinic Colchester) I am so shocked of the way the manager has treated us, not long ago I took my cat to the vet due to his itchiness he had, The vet staff examine my cat, and in my experience and my wife has witnessed that he was not doing a good job and he could not find any health record for my cat on his PC due to the same issue he had a couple of years back, we were shocked and surprised, we did explain to him we brought him here two years ago he had the same problem and the lady we saw she was very nice, she investigated and gave him an injection and it stopped his itchiness my cat was ok. But he had no record. 1 we mention that my cat has also lost weight; vat staff did not do anything about it when he examined my cat. 2 as he was listening to my cat's heart it took him six minutes or seven minutes to try and find his heart beat. What's that all about. 3, I believe we never got much support from him, and as a customer I'm not happy of the result and support he gave us. And flea check meant to be free that if the vet hasn't seen the cat for two years that's is the rules, but instead I was charged. I was so upset because my cat was suffering too much; I phone my bank to dispute this amount because I don't think it was fear that I pay and nothing was done in regards to my cat's condition. Next minute I'll get an email from the manager after I contact my bank to cancel the dispute because I just wanted to forget it and move on, the manager told me that I have two weeks to find a new vat and that's final, he also mentioned that they will not support or treat our animals and I must transfer to another partition vet clinic, ASAP am really upset. A company like this should treat us with more respect after all we are all paying them to treat our animals. This vet meant to, Respect the customers. Support the customers. Help the customers. Advise the customers, Do anything to support them and resolve the problem and issue they have. But no one supported me. Customers has the right to make a complaint if they're not happy with something or dispute, we have rights. I am so disappointed, there is some nice stuff that i really get on with and there is 1 or 2 staff I'm not too keen with. After all that I have paid an operation on my dog's leg to remove a nail that cost me £500, I also had to put my poor cat to sleep which cost me £300 that involves cremation, and they don't even appreciate all that amount i paid to the company, instead they tell you to move on and get another vet somewhere else. I don't recommend this vet after the way I got treated look elsewhere for better one.
