We recently bought a home in Cornwall, complicated by the fact that we were living outside the UK. Penderlaw discovered a significant legal problem with the deeds, which previous purchasers of the development were not aware of. This problem jeopardised the long term security of our ownership of the property which were purchasing. It required Penderlaw to negotiate with the Sellers solicitors to accept the need for a formalised Deed of Variation.
