Travelodge Newquay Seafront

The hotel itself was great and the staff very helpful. The room was one of the biggest I've ever had at a traveloge and it overlooked Great Western beach which was lovely. Unfortunately there is no on-site parking and the nearest car park was very small and I had difficulty getting my car out as the rows were too narrow so it made it difficult to manoeuvre. Shame that Travelodge can't come to an after hours agreement with Aldi to use their carpark when they're closed.

Location great, five mins walk to the town, pubs & clubs. Breakfast was a bit disappointing it was hot but not much choice. I was a bit put off when on arrival there were a few men who looked homeless trying to come into their friends' room who was staying there, they were refused but apparently council use this to put people up. The hallway to our room smelt of cigarette smoke, too! Plenty of nicer places to stay at same price

Amazing location, with views of great western beach. Rooms were clean and spacious. £100 per night for a family room in September. No toothpaste, toothbrush, comb etc. Hairdryer on request. Standard tea and coffee facilities in the room. Good amount of towels and pillows. Unlimited breakfast is comprehensive, including vegetarian hot breakfast. Meat hot breakfast available, but no fried or boiled eggs. Nice choice of cereals, milks, breads, jams, pancakes.

Had brilliant 11 nights here. We had a room with Sea views right along to the Harbour. Jay the assistant Manager is so very helpful to everybody. You can bring your dogs here and they have the beach only a few minutes away. You have all the amenities you could wish for all within five minutes from the Hotel. Will definitely stay here again.

Always stop off here before we get into our destination. The staff are very pleasant and helpful, especially the front desk. The rooms are clean, warm and comfortable. However we did try the breakfast buffet this time. The food was plentiful but just not very warm. Only one member of staff doing the till, clearing tables and bringing food out. We had to use paper cups as the cups were waiting to be washed and brought back out.
