This was our first time visiting ask italian and it was amazing. the staff were friendly and attentive. food was wow! and we can't wait to go again.
This restaurant is in a great location and serves good food. being a bit old fashioned, i think some of the staff are scruffy and can't tell who works there and who are guests. being shown to the table is rushed, no gap between starter and main, it feels like you're being rushed so you get out to make space for next customer. our waitress was very good but very busy. starter was good, main was small but tasty. over £60 for 2 of us so not too bad. we will return but not first choice of restaurant.
I rarely give restaurants five stars but the food was so good. i decided to go for the king prawn tagliatelle which is a pretty generic menu item found at most italian restaurants. i can honestly say this was the best one i have ever eaten. i finished off with a tiramisu which was so light, i could have eaten another one! fantastic. friendly staff, highly recommended.
The food was hot, and very tasty. the staff member was very helpful and polite, and did really well to keep up with the growing room of customers.
Beautiful food, lovely service - although our waiter seemed really rushed despite the restaurant being quiet. we weren't asked about how any of our food was but we liked that as it gave us time to enjoy without disturbance. we would still come again. thoroughly enjoyed a quiet night out.
