Stephanie Stevens Jewellery

We worked with Steph over several months spanning both 2020 and 2021 to create a pair of wedding bands and an engagement ring. Quite simply we are utterly delighted with the outcome and have thoroughly enjoyed the process. After exchanging a few emails, we were fortunate enough to meet Steph in person, in St Ives. We were both very excited and enthusiastic after this initial meeting, it seemed Steph really understood what we were trying to achieve, gave us some good ideas and suggestions and teased out what we really wanted. Subsequently Steph did some sketches to make sure we were aligned in our ideas, this morphed into a wax moulding of our rings for us to try on and see. This was especially useful as it allowed us to tweak things slightly and get the rings just perfect. With the wax mouldings confirmed Steph set about making the actual rings from them. Throughout the entire process we were kept updated of the progress, this took the form of Zoom video calls and emails with high resolution pictures. I had no idea the complex steps involved in creating our rings, it was fascinating to see. The icing on the cake was having the rings handed over by Steph, in person, at the top of Porthmeor beach in the glorious sunshine in the middle of our holiday! If anyone is after entirely bespoke wedding rings (and other jewellery) both I and my partner would thoroughly recommend Steph.

Steph made the most beautiful ring I could ever have dreamed of that boyfriend to propose to me with. She helped him to create something special inspired by a ring I’d seen the year before. What makes Steph’s business unique is that she is truly passionate about her craft, guides you the whole way and takes high quality photographs throughout the journey of creation, which has been amazing for me to see. She is so talented! I am so grateful that it was her who created a ring I will treasure forever. We really loved our experience with Stephanie; she kept us updated with photos of our rings as she was making them which was really interesting to see. We felt like we had a lot of say over what they looked like, even making suggestions about the thickness of the curves etc! This meant that our rings were truly special and unique to us, and we felt like we had lots of creative control over how they looked, which was good fun. Stephanie was absolutely amazing. She designed and made my wife's engagement ring, helping me along the way for ideas and design with several consultations. We loved it so much that we also asked her to design our wedding rings and we couldn't be happier! It was her idea to have coordinates engraved on the inside of our bands which is something so special to us - we chose the spot we got engaged.
