Blackacre Nurseries

Not your typical gc (no frills) but an enormous variety of plants at really excellent prices well worth taking the trouble to find. we've been once and are going back again today. only one negative thing to say and that is take cash they don't accept card payments but doesn't stop me giving them 5 stars

I have been buying plants for over 15 years from black acre nursery, why? because they always have a great selection of plants ... at such reasonable prices. also i like the fact that so much is home grown. a brilliant little nursery .... well worth visiting...

Fabulous nursery with a good selection of high quality plants at really good prices. we go here every year for our basket and border plants, but they have a good selection of hedging as well. it's amazing how many plants you come away with for the money - excellent value.

Although it is small, it is full of healthy plants! having never been before, yesterday we decided to pop in. compared to garden centres, the plants here are well cared for and well watered. we were really impressed and we will be back soon! cash only. our only criticism is that not all the prices were visible. grasses for example - we couldn't make out a price so we didn't buy. however, we will look again next time we are passing and if they are labelled clearly, we might buy some then.
