Sarah and Jon have a sweet and unassuming air that belies their talents for photography. As a designer, there's no one I trust more to photograph my work; their images are shot like pieces of classical art but they do so in a way that leaves the couples feeling comfortable and having fun.

We were looking for the perfect photographer for our wedding day in Cornwall for some time. We had a vision for a photographer that wouldn't just provide us with the conventional wedding photos but that would go beyond that; a photographer that could tell an enchanting story of the day, with an eye for images and moments that are characterful, charming, unique and last in the memory. Not only that, we wanted a photographer that would be able to weave in the natural, ancient beauty of the Cornish landscapes around us. In other words, we were being extremely picky, but then again it was our wedding day and if you can't be picky then, when can you be? So imagine our delight when we happened across Lyra & Moth. Scrolling through their photos on their website and Instagram we knew they were everything that we were looking for from our photographer. We breathed a massive sigh of relief when Sarah confirmed she would be free on our wedding day as we knew we'd be in the safest of hands. How right we were. Sarah took simply beautiful photos and she captured the essence of the day perfectly; showing an expert and creative eye that impressed us both. She was able to capture so many of those precious moments in time that can pass you by on the day and which are so meaningful to look back on. In particular, her use of the late afternoon light and the landscapes around us gave some of the photos a soft, dreamlike quality that we adore. Sarah is not only a fantastic photographer but she's also a lovely and sincere person that we felt comfortable with immediately. Driving us through the Cornish countryside on our way to and from Holywell Beach after our ceremony she was great fun and her love of Cornwall really shone through. She made a special day feel even more so with her warmth and genuine passion for what she does. Overall we couldn't recommend Lyra & Moth highly enough. Thank you for being so amazing!

We booked Lyra & Moth for our elopement wedding in Cornwall this summer and we couldn’t have wished for better! What appealed to us about Lyra & Moth is that they’re not your standard wedding photographer, which is just what we we were after. Sarah was incredible from the beginning and was such a joy to spend the day with on our wedding. It was just like having a close friend photograph us for the day. After the ceremony she took us off to a quiet coastal spot and we had just the best time! I was quite anxious about the prospect of being photographed, but Sarah helped us to feel so comfortable and made it such an enjoyable experience. Once we received the photos back, we were absolutely blown away. Sarah truly has such a talent for capturing those precious moments in such a beautiful way. I honestly can’t recommend her enough and wish we could do it all over again!!

Myself and my partner were not looking for traditional set photos of our wedding day, but to capture the day as it really was. Sarah truly is like a ninja; I hardly noticed her darting around the wedding, and I can’t believe some of the photos she had taken. I haven’t even seen all the photos she has taken, but I’m already so blown away by the ones she has shown me.
