I have Failed Back Surgery Syndrome and I came to Mark when the medical profession's response to my condition worsening was to increase my medication dosage and it was not helping. I found a research report that suggested specific acupuncture points for this condition, Mark was open to reviewing the report and trying them and since then, the pain and burning in my feet and legs has reduced significantly. I sleep better and I can walk a little better. I've also reduced my medication dosage. Mark is patient and caring, always checks how the 'whole me' is doing. Cant recommend him enough. I began treatment with Mark after checking out several acupuncture clinics. We had a chat via email to explain my issue and Mark decided he could do something to help. I injured my hand severely, 18 months before (bitten and crushed by a horse), hospital treatment at the time was limited by covid. I suffered with necrotic tissue and gangrene. It left me with daily episodes of debilitating and painful pins and needles as well as full arm numbness, affecting my work and home life. Mark assessed, and came up with a treatment protocol. I had very little to do, bar lie in a warm comfortable room and chat. Of course I felt the needles inserted, but after that, no pain through any of my 5 treatments. Improvements began almost immediately, and progressed every week. I am now 3 weeks on from my final treatment. I have experienced zero numbness or pins and needles in weeks. I can do all the things I used to, before the incident, without the pain, discomfort or the minor incidents caused by loss of feeling I'd had in that arm. The difference is incredible. As a bonus, I have much freer movement in the hand and the scar is finally settling down, looking less aggressive/red than it has since the day I damaged it.
