Great little bakery great food friendly staff

Get there early for the best cakes as they will be gone. Friendly people. Value for money

Really friendly and helpful staff, went out of their way to help when I arrived early and the cake wasn't quite ready. Even gave me an individual cake to eat while I was waiting, a lovely gesture, but the confectioners custard was like nothing I have ever tasted, not in a good way, was my choice of cake though, to be fair, it looked nice. Maybe the fresh cream would have been nicer. Birthday cake turned out to be lovely and fresh, tasted beautiful and almost perfect, and my Mum was happy with it, which was amazing, because she is a cake maker herself and hard to please. Birthday cake was plain sponge with buttercream and jam, covered in soft fondant icing and decorated as I asked for. I hope this review helps. Despite small niggles, I would use them again. I try to be true and fair with my reviews.
