I recently used Askews for conveyancing services for both my house sale and house purchase. Throughout the process which was quite complex they dealt with matters thoroughly and professionally and were always fairly easy to contact either by email or by telephone. Special thanks to Sunitum Dhillon and her team for bringing all matters to a successful conclusion.

I have to say my view on solicitors was very low up until now. I instructed Askews legal for the sale of a business. My solicitor was Christos Yianni and from start to finish he was professional and astute. My solicitors for any legal entity from now on is Askews my experience was phenomenal. Down to the last hurdle of useless solicitors on the other side, my firm crossed it over the line. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

We used askews recently for our first home purchase and they were very efficient, the process was quick and painless! They also offered multiple discounts so cheaper than most other solicitors we got quotes from. When we had queries, responses were quick. The only improvement point I'd make is that it would have been helpful to have a 'welcome' or introduction call at the start of the process just to go through the forms and next steps as we found these quite confusing.

This was the second time using Askews legal services and the professionalism and proficient customer service was exceptional. Sunitum's team's extensive expertise and support throughout our complex conveyancing process, was appreciated during this stressful time. I would highy recommend their services.

As a first time buyer with no prior buying experience, would say overall Askews were okay. I would use again if needed. My main team Lauren & Sunitum were friendly and professional. I felt the experience was always in my best interests and advice offered was appreciated when needed. The reason for only 3 stars is due to a few flaws that I was rightly or wrongly expecting more. Firstly not exclusive to Askews, it would appear nowadays solicitors have no urgency for clients. You hear the same story everywhere and in my case no different. I felt paying a fee more expensive than other quotes I had received prior, would perhaps mean they would be "on it" more than other competitors. Especially judging by all the good reviews here. Sadly I had to chase weekly for updates as communication was sometimes non existent to limited. From email trails I was copied in on, it would seem some replies to correspondence between solicitors would take a week! Unacceptable in this day in age with emails. My other disappointment was the various individuals dealing with my case. I had my solicitor and several paralegals assisting. Sometimes they would ask me for information that had already been provided or discussed with another member of this team prior. Therefore communication between them could have been better. The simple suggestion would be to just have one or two individuals dealing with the case not up to 4 in my circumstance! I was very mindful not to be one of those clients badgering daily, instead I was reasonable with timescales for chasing, once a week being my norm. However, I could never get hold of my solicitor by her direct line...ever! Lauren assisting did however answer her phone the majority of the time and was most helpful. In summary, we got there eventually and most happy with my new house. I did feel at times though that if it wasn't for me as the paying client keeping the transaction moving, we would still be waiting now! Go figure.
