Delta One Canines

We had Bob visit us yesterday to discuss our 9 month old Lab’s behaviour such as thinking he is in charge and the ‘Top Dog’ of the household, some serious behavioural issues at home, dreadful walking on lead, pulling, jumping and barking at every passer by, we were at our wits end and desperately needed help. After a few hours talking with Bob and him asking us lots of different questions regarding how the dog acts in the house towards us as a family, and how we react back to the dog, He was able to give a reason for every single behaviour problem, and a reason behind it,and explained everything perfectly. Together we put together a plan for going forward, with just a few simple tweaks to our daily routine, advice on feeding, boundaries in the house and a new head collar for walking, I was left feeling there was light at the end of the tunnel, and that we weren’t lost cases when it comes to training our dog. We will continue to put every part of the plan Bob gave us in place at home and work hard on making sure we see it through. After walking three miles today with the new head collar on and not one lunge, bark or pull I am already one hundred percent certain we made the right decision contacting Bob for a behavioural consultation, and cannot wait to see the results at home with our continued effort following Bobs advice.

Did 8 weeks worth of training for my germen shepherd based on recall and from the very first session we have seen some massive improvements. The pulling on the lead stopped and he was listening to us a lot more. Also the trainer was great to have a laugh and their was plenty of banter.

I have just completed the 8 week beginners training with Gill. My boy Murphy is a cross and very stubborn. He has jumped on and knocked over Gill and has given her a couple of bruises, in his excitement, but being the professional she is she smiled and carried on. Murphy has improved so much over the last 8 weeks, walking him now is no longer a problem. Recall and stay still need work when out and about as he gets distracted easily, but I will continue with his training everyday. I have learned so much and would highly recommend Delta Onr Canines for training.

We are on our 6th session of the obedience course and we are so happy with the results! Gill made the sessions very enjoyable and our 2,5yo rescue is already more well rounded. Also, Gill gave us a lot of advice on behaviour, useful training tips- what products best to buy, diet, and many more! We’ve learnt so much from Gill, that we decided to book more sessions! Thank you!
