Really tricky but stunning course. fantastic service in the clubhouse. 5 star

I was invited to a celebration lunch. being sunday, the menu revolved around a roast dinner which most of us chose. the soup starter set the tone : soup is easy but also easy to mess up. this was a tasty and robust offering served with a small bun and butter. chef 1 diappointment 0. after an appropriate break, we were asked to visit the carvery where there were many choices and we were free to heap our plates as high as we wished. the ham was excellent as was the turkey but the beef, although tasty, was somewhat tough and could have done with cooking in a sous vide to soften the texture. chef 1 disappointment dented. finally, i opted for apple crumble and was greeted with a no nonsense serving of traditional crumble covering a layer of apple which still had texture. topping it all off was a serious covering of custard. chef 2 disappointment 0. this was sunday lunch as it has been traditionally served down the ages accomplished with aplomb. service was on the button but unobtrusive and parking, once we understood it, was plentiful.

Tight but a real gem for a societies. fast green's and nice contors to them. staff really friendly and ready to help.

Fantastic course, very pleasant staff. course in brilliant condition. look forward to playing again in the future.

Great social side to this club, the course is hard but rewarding when you tame it.
