Bella Italia - Coventry

The food was really nice, and service was good, could have been more upbeat but that's just our opinion. the atmosphere, and music was really good and there was a good selection of non and alcoholic drinks.

We came here because of "taste card" (they have 2 for 1 deals) thinking it would be a cheap dinner for 2, but ended up paying more than we thought (£40). food was alright all in all, the starters were great, the mains were alright, we had the duck pasta (super sweet) and the mac and cheese (bit plain), and the deserts were not for us, the ice-cream dough balls were frozen solid and the semifredo was more ice-creamy than mousse. atmosphere and service was good. recommend! ps: plan to arrive early as parking is tricky to find!

We had a lovely evening with great tasting food from the set menu. the waiter we had paid attention to when we needed our next course and dirty items removing. our waiter was also attentive to the cutlery we needed for each course. was a lovely evening. only negative would be the tables were a little to close together which meant people were brushing you as they walked passed. an extra 20cm space between tables would have been better :)

Went here for dinner and i must say, this place has excellent service. my server andre was wonderful. the food and drinks came out very quickly. the drinks were tasty and big so need for a second cocktail wasn’t necessarry. i opted to have the set 3-course menu, for my starter i chose the mushroom dish, my main was the pomodoro pasta and the tiramisu for dessert. the mushroom dish was tasty but lacked flavor. the sauce that it came with was watery which made it slightly unpleasant. the pomodoro pasta was very bland and also watery which also made it unpleasant. dessert was delicious, not too appealing to the eye but it was delicious. my companion who dined with me also had similar views, savory dishes lacking flavor but a delicious dessert.
