The Coventry Music Museum

A must visit destination not just for fans of 2 Tone. A well organised, interesting & unique museum run by volunteers who are as friendly as they are knowledgeable. Fun interactive activities such as playing musical instruments, trying on various Ska style hats &, this is where I was beside myself with excitement, being able to sit in the actual real life car used in The Specials' Ghost Town video! The shops & cafe are all well worth a visit too. A friendly, welcoming atmosphere in the whole 2 Tone Village - loved it!

Great little gem of a place !! Especially if you like 2 tone music and culture surrounding it ! So often it was said to be racist but it was just the opposite , just as the name suggests . What a fantastic culture and music too !! Also it looks into the history of everything musical to come out of Coventry , which was alot more than I thought 🤔😀 Well worth a visit .😎

Fantastic place to visit if you're ever in Coventry. Wide range of history on the Music of Coventry as a whole, as well as 2 tone and the ghost town car. Just one thing, the muesem is run by volunteers and you need cash to pay for entry.

This was the absolute highlight of our day!!!! What a fantastic place... brilliant music memorabilia, brilliant staff and we had a brilliant time. It's a MUST visit for all SKA/2Tone fans, with fab music playing, great photo opportunities, plus interesting chats with the staff. In fact I expressed such an interest in one particular artist (that I didn't know was from Coventry) I was given a signed single of his. Totally blown away with their kindness!!!! 100% all about giving a great experience. This was also extended to the cafe where the staff were exceptional and the menu divine (& cheap as chips). Go... you won't be disappointed!!!!

Fantastic nostalgic visit. The staff were really friendly and knowledgeable from the moment we got there. They are all volunteers and you can tell they love their museum. There are lots of interesting things to see and interactive things to do. The 2-Tone shops and the whole village are definitely well worth a visit.
