Town Crier

Highlight of my visit to Coventry. Only here visiting family for a week. I have lived for 7 years now in sunny Spain, . So very pleased to have been invited to this warm, very welcoming English pub today for lunch. Smiling efficient staff and great food at a reasonable price. Muchas Gracias Amigos 💃

This wonderful city centre pub was a monthly high-lite for us before the Covid-19 outbreak, for family outings. This was our first trip back by bus from Banbury, oxon. And could not have been better, Yes the pub is so laid-back, relaxing and very friendly, the beer and ales great, but its the Sunday Dinner we came for! perfect, everything fresh, cooked, and so tasty, real Yorkshires, real roast potatoes, real gravy, Beef was tender as was the Pork, and plenty on it!! We shall not be strangers any more!!! Thanks to all staff, Brillant.

Delicious food, highly recommended. Nice chilled out atmosphere and friendly staff.

My Dad and myself both ordered the pork Sunday roast. It was very good, unfortunately too much for us, sorry we left a lot. But would thoroughly recommend it. Staff very friendly as were the customers. We had several conversations!!

What a lovely gem of a pub. The staff here are extremely friendly and professional. The food was really good value for money I thought, and the choice of drinks exceptional. I would most definitely come again and recommend this place to others. I had the Onion Bhaji burger, which was suggested to me by a tall lad with blonde tied up hair, and I wasn’t disappointed. 👍👍👍
