James designed an extension to our house which extended our kitchen to twice its size and connected to a detached garage. This could have been a clunky functional extension to achieve more space but James' design not only added a great deal of workable extra room but it blended well with the rest of the house design and created a beautiful space too. We went on to sell our house and the extension wowed our viewrs and made a huge difference to the property. James was really helpful and responsive through the whole proces and I wouldn't hesitate to use him again for another project or reccomend his services.

We employed Hough Architecture Ltd to prepare plans for the extension and refurbishment of a period cottage in Sandbach, Cheshire, within the town's central conservation area. The firm provided an exemplary professional service throughout that delicate process and has provided high level advice on multiple occasions since.

We asked James to design a kitchen extension and recommend other internal modifications to make better use of the space. James came up with some great ideas that we hadn’t thought of, including external features. He drew up the designs and guided us through the process of building regulations, etc and recommended builders. He even came round during the build stage to help with queries and concerns. Less than a year later it’s all complete and we’re really pleased with the result. Would definitely recommend James.

When I first came across James and he attended my house to discuss my thoughts of extensive work on my house he made designs and adjusted as necessary. He dealt with the planning authorities and queries alongside any neighbours' objections. He answered all their questions and found me a good builder and landscapers for what turned out as a long project. James was always quick to respond to any difficulties and on hand for advice.
