The Brasserie at Crewe Hall

Extremely limited menu different to the one online. For the lack of items available, overpriced. Wine awful. Steak overpriced. Not worth it. If you are staying at the hotel go out or get a delivery.

A really uncomfortable dining experience tonight. The food we eventually received after an incredible wait was lovely, however, not as described on the menu. If you only deliver one type of bread and chips, do not advertise several different ones on the menu. Also got a single piece of toast with a pot of paté so had to ask for more toast so the rest didn't go to waste. Every single member of staff seemed to come across embarrassed to serve you your food, which together with every single table around you raising complaints about your food made for an entirely uncomfortable dining experience. Didn't order dessert as who knows how long it would have taken to come, all desserts we saw served looked disappointing and most pertinently, we couldn't wait to get out of there!

We have just travelled through 5 districts of England and this is the worst breakfast! It’s like eating in A Kmart cafeteria or a road side diner. Has brought down the whole extol this property that we have been looking forward to. Just because there is a heritage property! We paid top dollar to stay in the old part of the Crewe Hall and we are not even eating here! Disappointed is an understatement!

Utter trash, never have I waited so long for such sub mediocre food. The new lady manager though did rectify the situation somewhat tonhwr credit, though just looking through the hole in the kitchen it's clear no one is running this. Additionally there was running on the floor in the bar area. Lots of staff, none had the intuition to pick not up. Its hard to be so bad.

From a set menu for Father’s Day I chose the watercress soup and the seabass. The soup was acid and the tortellone inside was not cooked. The seabass was nice but the greens that were just sautéed supposed to be blanched first, basically hard raw greens. Chef please taste the food. Service was also not great, soup but no spoon, manager seemed not to be interested on seeing why the food was on the plate to be cleared. The lady at the Bar need to be cloned, she is an asset, very friendly and engaging. Sorry I know it’s not a good review but hopefully can be taken on a positive side.
