Excellent service today from Kristian. Left me to look around the car and test drive without any hassle at all. Really helpful and approachable. 3 months warranty included and drove the car away sameday. Would absolutely use again.

Final update: no court action was needed, it just had to be threatened, never received a response from them since the review originally went up. I think you can see the aggression you have to deal with in Kristians response. Update: kristian has agreed on writing to cover 50% of the cost of the part (which seems like a joke really) to get the vehicle to advertised specification. Now I have purchased the part and provided an invoice he seems to once again be MIA. This garage has a non existent approach to warranty and consumer rights and should be avoided at all costs. I am expecting that this may be a small claims court issue I think reading Kristian's responses to his other poor reviews probably gives the best indication of what this man is really like to deal with. I bought a car a few months ago. On the way home the engine light came on. I rang immediately so we could get it sorted. During the process of this I became aware that Kristian Davies had misled me about the number of keepers the vehicle had and It is my belief that he had just had the vehicle returned as faulty and failed to fully rectify the issue (A well-documented EGR valve failure). This was the first red flag. (I am happy to upload evidence of this if you need Kristian) At this stage I made it clear that I would be conducting a full check of the vehicle, using a diagnostic computer etc to ensure that there are no further (Major) faults or deviations from the advertisement. I made Kristian aware that neither the parking sensors worked nor the car alarm worked (both were key features on the advert) and attempted to arrange a time when this could be sorted. He passed me on to a garage called Prestege (Which appear to also be owned by mr Davies) who informed me that this could take a week to resolve and they were unable to provide any alternative vehicles. I then asked Mr Davies if, due to the inconvenience he would be willing to get a garage more locally to do the work required. I recieved no reply for over a week and nobody checks the email account when someone is on holiday. (Kristian read up on how to use out of office replies) His business partner offered a courtesy car (complete with bulges in the tyres and a steering wheel which pointed at the wing mirror) and I went down to crewe to get the issues sorted. They failed to resolve everything but the EGR. Short of it from now, kristian has continued to be standoffish and agressive leading to me hanging up on the phone and no longer being willing to ring him to resolve this (He doesnt do Long emails or text messages so good luck getting in contact any other way). I have been left to repair the parking sensors as they appeared to have dislodged other sensors whilst fixing one and disputing with them about getting the alarm fixed. I'm sure you would have a great experience buying a car from these people if it doesnt have any issues. the chances are that its probably best to walk away from this one.

We bought a Kia Sportage from Alan Davies Cars a couple of weeks ago and it drives a treat. We spotted a couple of things that needed rectifying after buying it - things you are only likely to pick up once you own a car - and Alex made it really straightforward for us. Couldn't be happier with our new car - would definitely recommend.

I've recently sold my car to Alan Davies and dealt with Alex and his business partner, this isn't my first time as 9 months ago I did the same thing! It was an easy transaction and the customer service from a local dealership was impeccable! Professional, payment made immediately and delivered on everything they said. Alex offered to drop me home as well and it was just a flawless experience. I bought a Seat Leon from here last week, bought the car kind of blind as I'd only seen it on the website but Kristian said my deposit would be returned if car wasn't as described. Travelled down by train and Alex was waiting for me at the station in the Leon. We drove back to the garage where Alex left me to go over the car in my own time, it was exactly as described so I went ahead with the sale. Everything went well and Alex was very attentive, pointing me in the direction of the cheapest petrol station and the M6 for the 300 mile trip home. Car went really well through some pretty awful weather. So basically I'm very happy with the car and the service I received from Alan Davies Car Sales and I would happily recommend them.
