Lovely staff at the hotel. Simple rooms okay for short stays. Beds weren't very comfy however and pillows were a bit hard, other than that it was an okay stay for the price! Convenient location for us as super close to the wedding we were going to. Would recommend for a cheap hotel for 1 or 2 nights not too bad.

Had to have an emergency overnight stay 20th to 21st Oct due to storm Babhet cancelling the train to Edinburgh... Stacey was amazing...room was OK, hotel was noisy... whole place could have done with a good deep clean (hoover under the mattress... re bed bugs ! A wee bit routine maintenance... clean the tiles sort of things)... very noisy place, ..can hear everything from all other rooms, stairs and the road.. Best bit.. Stacey at reception... she was an absolute star.. amazing, so helpful, cheery and and absolute gem, thanks Stace... hope you enjoy your well deserved holiday xxx

Would give it 4 stars as the values is good, but the rooms and the hallways are looking very tired, plus my biggest gripe were pillows which were hard as bricks; some like that but for me this is the hardest pillow I have ever had. The room is big and the shower works well. It is across the parking lot from shops and a pub and it us a 10 minute walking to the business park and 25 minutes into town.

Had a 3 night stay here. The whole place was clean the rooms a decent size, choice of soft or harder pillows. Shower was wet and warm. Great location to explore from. We didn't find it noisy and found the range of local shops and food places on the doorstep provided us with all we needed food wise. The only gripe I have is that I had to share a room with my 15 year old son, and he slept on a fold up bed which was not the comfiest thing. Overall a good place to stay. Oh, and the staff we came into contact with were lovely and friendly!
