My daughter loves her piano lessons with Rob. He is a hugely engaging, encouraging and effective teacher - and a brilliant musician and communicator - who always seeks to equip, motivate and bring out the best in his students. His love of music is infectious! Highly recommended.

Rob has been my flute teacher for several years and I can confidently say he is the best one out there. He repeatedly motivated and encouraged me to practice and perform. This included finding ways that I could play with his other students which gave us opportunities to reflect and grow as individual musicians. His expertises and array of interesting and unique experiences in the musical world really helped him keep his lessons relevant and engaging. Rob has taught me clarinet as an adult for the past 5 years - I was a total beginner when I started. Rob is an inspirational teacher at all levels and a super-talented musician. He has endless patience and enthusiasm and is so knowledgeable. I couldn't recommend him more highly.

Rob has been teaching our daughter Sax and Clarinet for many years. She really looks forward to her lessons, she always feels really empowered and positive after her lessons and his motivation has genuinely always been about her getting enjoyment out of her playing. There are always things that get in the way of teenage schedules and he is always extremely flexible and is very very fair. We would definitely recommend Rob as a teacher and would always be happy to give a personal reference or talk to anyone considering taking lessons with Rob.
