Richmond village is a really comfortable place with great facilities. the staff are very friendly and helpful and will go out of their way to help. gardens are very well maintained too.
This was a big move for my grandma, she had some anxiety at first having lived in her house for several decades. after a few visits she decided to take the leap and soon settled in and took advantage of the many suitable activities (she loved art, bridge and bowls which were among the many options). a huge thought and effort goes into the landscaping around the village which always looks well kept. the ground floor apartment my grandma lived in was immaculate, and freshly decorated prior to her moving in. it had all the aids you would expect to assist her getting around and doing day to day tasks. there were french doors leading out to the path around the bowling green, a lovely view and short walk leading to the main building. the food was certainly up to grandma's standards, seeing as she ate at the restaurant often twice a day - why cook?! i can't imagine a place with better staff. the team, across all positions, levels and departments made a keen effort to get to know each resident personally, and always took the time to chat to them and were as friendly, kind and patient as you can ask for. i'm so pleased my grandma was able to spend many of her later years so well looked after. special mention to nicola who was absolutely amazing with my grandma!
Richmond village is a delightful place for our relative to live. there is entertainment or activities twice a day- today they have a ‘danceathon’ raising funds for charity with live music - a real lift for residents. other times it maybe craft classes, live music, themed meals - plenty of social activity. the home itself is beautifully decorated with a bowling green in the centre of the buildings with beautiful gardens.
Richmond village nantwich have been a massive support to our stroke survivors speech and language group who have been their nominated charity for 2023. we have had so much support and fun with lots of exciting events and fundraisers. the staff, residents are wonderful and show so much compassion and enthusiasm in everything we do. thank you so much. i’ve even got my dad staying for respite here for 2 weeks in october and he can’t wait to come!!!
I’ve been a visitor to the residents of richmond village nantwich now for over 2 years. each visit still never fails to put a smile on my face or touch my heart as the professionalism, care and warmth is spread throughout. having worked with most of the residents they are so happy here and feel the same. staff treat you with dignity and respect. they spend time with you, develop trusting relationships and are concerned for your wellbeing. you have enough privacy and your family and friends can visit you. i can’t speak highly enough of the some of the most wonderful hardworking caring people i have ever met, this is the place to be when you need the best.
