I've had the livery on the side of my cars for 15 years or so and used Zero signs for the first time a couple of years ago. It was an expensive job compared to previous company's I'd used but the workmanship was a lot better and well worth paying a bit more for in my opinion.

Please see Zerosigns and digital ltd on facebook for more great reviews. Hello my name is Ben I am joint director with my father Geoff who has been in the Business for over 45 years. I would like to respond to the review by Mr Adams. This customer contacted Zero Signs for a quote on some prints and said he would like to do Business with Zero Signs as he had a disagreement with his previous supplier. This comment automatically rang alarm bells, but as a paying customer a quote was done and he accepted. When Mr Adams called into Zero Signs to hand over his Artwork he was asked for payment as he was a non account customer and his comments and attitude to this was that he had never paid in advance for his goods and commented that Zero Signs may not do his work to a satisfactory standard to which the Office Manager pointed out that the years of experience and printers which Zero Signs had would be to a high standard and we would ensure as a customer he was satisfied. Mr Adams did agree to pay 50% and apologised if he had offended in any way and was okay when he left the Office. Later in the afternoon a call came in from Mr Adams again to say that he felt the terms and conditions on the quotation were not clear and we should make amendments. The Office Manager said his comments would be passed to Ben Caldwell who would contact him the following day. .Payment was not taken as the quantity of prints had changed and a new quote was required. Mr Adams was contacted the following day as advised but again his comments were about payment and the Office Manager. Mr Adams was advised of his Job if he still wished to proceed, but due to the late call on Friday was asked to call again on Monday. Mr Adams called on the Monday but unfortunately his attitude had not changed and Geoff Caldwell refused the work. I would like to say the staff at Zero Signs are always polite and helpful to our Customers and feel that with Mr Adams the Payment matter was an issue and his attitude was noted by other members of Staff within the Office. We are extremely surprised by this review but the Customer is always right!! I wonder how his previous Supplier would feel about his comments!!!

Having visited Zero signs Crewe previously I was happy to give the local company a go at producing prints of all sizes. With clients including Sony Playstation, Royal Enfield and Getty quality was paramount. I requested a quotation which I received the next morning direct from Ben Caldwell the Director, a very friendly and obliging member of the team, so are a vast majority of staff, however dropping the artwork off I received a very different attitude from a very difficult and abrasive member of staff at reception. I was told in a very stern manner have you replied to the quote sent last night in which I replied I wasn’t aware of a quote last night I received one yesterday morning. “No it was sent to you last night” which was repeatedly reiterated in a coarse manner until she checked the emails in which she noticed in was in the morning no apology made. I was then told I would need to pay up front, something that isn’t very clear from the quotation neither was it mentioned during our conversation to confirm the order. I was also told by this individual she didn’t like my attitude, which I found disgusting after her flippant remarks. Here are the terms you decide if it’s clear Payment: 30 days from date of invoice for account customers and with order for non-account customers. I apologised on several occasions that I hadn’t realised that was the case and offered to pay in full, my card details were taken. On my return to my office I’d noticed the above mentioned quotation and contacted the printers again to highlight that the terms were not clear regarding payment in which I received a barrage of verbal abuse from the same member of staff and talked down to like a child. I emailed Ben the director at this stage as he seemed more customer based than his own staff, I expressed my concerns and we moved on as he assured me action would be taken and my order processed with an agreed time to pick up the art work. I had at this stage informed my clients when the work would be ready. However on contacting the printers I was told by Ben’s father who introduced himself as Jeff until pressed for his position( another Director) they hadn’t completed the work and it would be next week at the earliest and that his Son was on Holiday. Jeff as he called himself will not be surprised at these comments and findings as I did warn I would be leaving a review of his company as a warning to other companies wishing to trade, something that didn’t seem to bother him. Today I have found a cheaper quote and a friendlier team to deal with so damage has been limited. However this could easily been financially damaging had it been for one of my major clients. I cannot express the importance in these difficult times for help customer service and a need to remember the customer is important. Terms and conditions need to be clear and transparent and also need to protect the client if problems arise.

We use Ben and the team on a regular basis, they do everything you expect from a professional print company. Competitive prices, high quality printing and excellent customer service. Flexible around our needs, and on the odd occasion tight deadlines they work hard to hit the tight deadlines that our customers sometimes give to us.
