A beautiful space and place to reconnect. so pleased i found this haven and once you walk in you just want to stay! it's soothing and comforting and you just want to go back for more. the variety of lessons are at a varied scale which i find so important. the teachers are so qualified and its good to know when i shouldnt be pushing my body like i want to. i want to keep this place a secret but that would be so wrong. a must for everyone. also discovered the cafe there, i'm so pleased i went along and discovered myself.

A very welcoming place. if you are new to yoga or pilates, there is a class to suit you. shelley and dad will advise you and put you at ease. all the teachers are very experienced and lovely people. i cannot give this place enough praise. i have made lots of friends and the open mind cafe upstairs run by monika is the perfect place to relax and eat good food after a class.

Ministry of yoga is a place i wish i’d found some years ago. it is a calm oasis to go to to recharge the batteries drained by the pressures of a busy life style. the ambience is relaxing, the classes are exceptional, run by teachers who are second to none. moy is managed by shelley and dan who have their client’s best interest at heart. i cannot recommend this place enough. on top of that there is a cafe that serves the most delicious food and drinks.

Amazing experience at the yoga for perimenopause workshop with claire bear. a truly empowering, informative and life changing session which enabled me to lead conversations with my gp. thank you 🙏

If you do one thing for yourself this week let it be going to ministry of yoga! i have a chronic lung condition, diabetes, arthritis and lots of other things related to inflammation in the body. i also suffer with anxiety and depression related to all these health woes and below is a little bit of how i realised that the health stuff is a very small part of me as a whole: ministry of yoga isn’t just about stretching and bending and doing the splits, it’s a place to go, a place to feel welcomed and to be able to just be you with no judgement or explanation needed. you can eat, sit and of course do yoga but it’s so much more!! between yoga therapy with the amazing shelley, talks with dan on reception, beautiful healthy but still indulgent food from monika and piotr in the cafe (the blueberry muffins are to die for!) and all the amazing teachers and people who frequent the place i’ve become much more me and what could be better really than being ok in your own skin! my health struggles are barely something i think about anymore, i’m more strong and confident and when i’m not i only have to think of this place and i’m automatically more calm and for those moments of overwhelm i know it’s there and all the beautiful people in it. my own personal sanctuary. thank you moy x
