What can I say! Just wanted to get a new car battery for my wife's car. Got served straight away and luckily enough had one in stock. In and out of the store within 10 minutes...

Booked in to have a "fitting assessment" done on a sub through the website for a Wednesday. Paid upfront for the item. Had to wait nearly 2 weeks for the fitting assessment date as it was the earliest they could do. On the day of the assessment I get a generic email in the morning saying the booking has been canceled. No expiation as to why. The store doesn't have a number listed on their website which is useful. No one bothers to get in touch directly to tell me what's going on. So I call customer services to find out what on earth is happening to be told their assessment fitter isn't available and that the store would call me sometime in November to re-arrange. And this was just to have an assessment. I'd have to wait even longer to have my item fitted! I decided to physically go down to the store to try get it sorted sooner considering I'd already waited this long and paid up front. The store tell me their assessment person only works Saturdays which is why my Wednesday slot was canceled. Why was it an option on your website to book days other than Saturdays then?! And I'd have to wait another 3 weeks to re-book JUST the assessment with a fitting date still nowhere in sight. Absolutely ridiculous! Ran out of patience and energy for this rubbish. Refund requested. Thanks for wasting my time!

I bought this inflator online priced £17.10 I click and collect using my £10 off from my premium motoring membership so I paid £7.10. I went to collect it in found the same item on the shelves priced £15.00. I demand cancellation to the till so I can buy the priced £15 but the man on the till said I will lose my £10 off from my premium motoring membership and explained that once you redeemed your offer you cannot get it back and transfer to another transaction. It’s only a difference of £2.10 but very disappointing business strategy. 🥲🥲👎👎👎 not happy!

I went to Halfords in Dartford this morning as a brake light wasn’t working. Was assisted by the delightful Leonie, she sorted everything out for me, from which bulbs I needed and advice about getting my car ready for winter. She was knowledgeable and very helpful. Then Zac fitted the bulbs in the car park very quickly. They were both very polite and charming, a credit to your company. I’ll certainly be recommending your services to all my friends.

Bought a halfords advanced toolbox which was damaged. I went back to the store with the heavy box in my boot. I asked a senior member of staff if they would pop outside the front door to check the damage, before lifting the heavy box into the store. I was booked in for a fitting appointment for some bizarre reason? 20 minutes later I'm still waiting. Terrible customer service and a lack of common sense from the senior staff member. Talia saw me looking frustrated and instantly came to help me. Great customer service from her, she should be promoted.
