Insider tip - Tongxin opened because the chef in Hutong (in The Shard, one of London's fanciest Chinese restaurants) wanted his own restaurant. The cooking is top quality, better than in Chinatown. Prices are much lower than you usually pay for this quality.

the best Chinese restaurant in the region without hesitation I could eat there all week. the food is excellent, the service excellent. just be careful on weekends there are a lot of people. The dim sum 😱😍.

I absolutely loved the Dim sum here (served until 5pm on weekends and during lunchtime in the week) Everything was great but we especially enjoyed the Siu Mai, Cheung Fun, Turnip cake, char siu buns and egg custard tarts. The staff are very attentive and constantly topping up your tea. We had an absolute feast with a few dishes to take home and it only came to around £50 with drinks. I can't wait to return and work my way through more of the Dim sum menu as well as the full menu.

Been a year since I last came to this restaurant. Atmosphere of the restaurant is now very lively and it was full during the lunch hour on Sunday. Most people gathering for dim sum no doubt. Food and service was excellent. The usual waiting for a table, but no different to other Chinese restaurants. We ordered a number of dishes and two stood out compared to other dim sum places I have been. The Thai style chicken feet was a little more spicy and flavoursome and thr bbq pork pastries crust were slightly more crunchy and thr filling a bit more packed. Definitely would come back when I am in the area again.

Very good place that serves dim sum. Tasty, bigger and fuller dim sum dishes compare to other places I have been to. Good and speedy services. Good prices. I would recommend reserving a table as it got very busy from 12:30pm. We will return for sure and don’t need to travel far to eat dim sum.
