This is not anything like a normal Chinese takeaway. It tastes like an Iceland version. Honestly, do not recommend! I had chow mein, salt and pepper chicken, rice and chicken balls. The chow mein and veg reminded me of microwave vegetable bags from Birds Eye, noodles tastes like a ready meal. The rice was definitely packet rice, had that obvious uncle bens type of taste! Chicken balls were very very weird, even the sweet and sour sauce tasted odd. If you’re looked for a proper Chinese takeaway, this is not it.

Every time I eat here I feel like the portions are smaller. The “Vegetable Noodles” had a couple of peas and literally one little piece of carrot. The vegetable spring rolls were practically empty… onion rings were delicious though. I guess it was my last meal in this place, because I paid almost £9 and still hungry… not happy at all.

Yangtze is located in the food hall at Bluewater. Whilst there are plenty of different vendors to choose from, my children decided, against my better judgement, to go here. There is a good selection of dishes and, to be fair, the food is hot and tasted adequate for the price we paid. The portions however, are ridiculous, 2 (yes two) chicken balls is a joke, that wasn’t even a kids portion so no way it’s going to touch the sides with an adult. For over £6 it’s certainly not value for money. Would not recommend

I don't raccomand it, plain taste, noodles with no veg at all, never in my life I taste food that was so bland, all finished in the bin. On top of that curry fries arrive without curry and missing items. Never again.

I absolutely love going here. I go to this place after college and work and I’ve never once been disappointed. I see people complaining about there being too much noodles, not enough meat, yet the stations are clearly set up in mains, secondaries and appetisers, of course you are going to get a lot of noddles! And £8.25 for a full meal that fills you up, so good - especially since you could pay a lot more money going to get something like this in an actual restaurant. The fact i could pay a similar price for a foot long Subway meal deal and still not be full afterwards is incredible, whereas im always full up afterwards with Yangtze!
