The Chippy

Probably the best fish and chips I've had in years do yourself a favour get down to this place you won't be disappointed.

First time we’ve tried The Chippy, but definitely not the last. We had to wait for the fish to be cooked but that wasn’t a problem. The batter was crispy, it was a very generous size and the portion of chips were sufficient for two people (and a few scraps for our dog). Thoroughly recommended.

Lovely chippy, chips were crispy on the outside fluffy on the inside. Fish was fried fresh and to perfection, the batter complimented the fish really well, nice subtle flavour with the fresh oil. The portions size was very generous. I have found my new local chippy! Keep up the great work.

What a fantastic Chipy.. my wife had regular Cod and had battered sausages and large chips. Batter on fish and sausages was perfect amount and crisp. Cod quality was really high as was the quality of the sausages. Portion size was very generous and I got to be honest chips were the best I have ever had. Thanks The Chipy for a lovely meal.....

Best​ Fish n chips in Kent, the batter is perfect - not too oily, delicate and properly welded without unwanted moist. Sad when it isn't open, happy when it is.
