I would like to give recognition to the receptionist i believe there names are anna and elizabeth. there always so welcoming and helpful and made my visit very easy and enjoyable. they are also very fast serving the customers and making sure i have a towel.
Thanks dl dartford and anna for always being so warm and helpful. she never shies away from a quick chat about workouts, the classes she's subscribed to, and offering some insider notes on what's best, etc. generally the most of their staff are nice and very helpful.
Overall facility is great but has got a few big flaws. the towels at reception seems to have shrunk massively and look more like a hand towel. we have just rejoined for another year but am slightly regretting the decision, if it wasn’t for the crèche then i think we would haven’t have come back. we have booked our free personal training sessions and the instructor hasn’t turned up, followed by staff that i don’t feel want to be there quite frankly. obviously i’m sure this isn’t the case for all colleagues. i really want them to make the facility better for it’s members and staff.
It is nice place. everything in one. but there is a lot that people don't like there once they join. first of all yearly contract. feels like you get trapped there and even if you want to leave you have to pay in full or give 6 months notice. food takes very long to come, staff always forget to bring something, drinks or ice-cream. a bit annoying going asking for it. place is more for adults than kids i would say. with kids it is very limited what you can do there. especially if you go in swimming pool. clubs or booking tennis or any other class you have to plan very advance otherwise everything is fully booked. so not a place to be spontaneous. my advice would be not to get celsius spa. there is 3 heated stone bed which is always full. and people there still bring phones even it is not allowed. and you want to relax there but someone next to you scrolling on tik tok. very annoying. also they didn't played relaxing music there for a while. jakuzi is full of men especially after 8pm. we as a family pay 312£ per month that's 10£ a day. when you think about it it is not much, but i don't like the fact we are trapped there for a year. we also get free towels and 2 guests passes. 3 person trainer session.
