Boots Opticians Dartford - High Street

Service was great, wonderful staff who were very helpful. In love with my new glasses!!

Very very annoyed with this practice. Waited just over a month for an eye test to be called up the day before the appointment and told they have to cancel. I asked when the next avaliable appointment is to rebook and they state the 30th May. Over another months wait again. As a new customer looking to find a suitable practice in Dartford, i would avoid this if you value your time.

I just had an eye test as I needed some new glasses. I had excellent service and would like to thank everyone there today as they made me feel at ease and made the process very smooth. Many thanks to Megan she was very patient, the optician who has fabulous and the nice lady who checked my order before it went through (I am sorry, I didn't catch your names). I am a very happy customer and will be always coming back!

Its a real shame cos majority of the staff are nice in there (hence 2 stars not zero!) when getting glasses, but I had the most horrid contact lens experience. Went in for a repeat prescription and they collectively pushed me to try a trial of the most expensive range they offer, making it purposely difficult to find out the price! When asking about pricing, the staff serving the counter, Anusia, made it clear she hated that Boots offer free trials for contact lens and that "customers won't return to purchase anyway", she was extremely rude and treated me very poorly because I wanted to know the price before going ahead. She rolled her eyes and refused to explain. Enquiring again later on, I think was the manager who finally told me its actually £70 a box. They are very hidden in their pricing, no info online- they push you to buy a 3 month rolling subscription you can only find information about in store. Compared pricing to specsavers and it is priced approx 50% more for the same brand. Boots really need to review their policy if its making their staff so resentful.

All staff were very amazing, lady doing the eye test, optician and lady sorting out the glasses. All were very patient and kind, especially the ladies getting multiple glasses off the hook for me. Even helped me choose some which was great. Great range of frames too for someone as fussy as myself.
