Close to where we lived and we decided to visit after heavy snowfall to get some excercise by walking around the park. we also enjoyed seeing younger people sledging down the slopes. it's just great to get outdoors even when it's cold by wrapping up!!
It's a nice little park, to walk your dog, to go for a walk or go jogging. they could add a bit more items for working out, like dips bar, pull up bar, etc... but it's very clean, and well maintained park, i would recomend.
Really good park, plenty of space and great nature trail. kids play area really could do with a revamp and a bit more than whats there,a lot of people use and enjoy this park especially kids so i'm surprised how poor this is. a few more exercise machines wouldn't go a miss either. this still is a really good park though and if the council ever find it in the budget to update the play areas this would be a 5 star park, but for now i give you 4
To get there definitely go down oakfield park road. follow it all the way to the end and hey presto oakfield park is at the end . limited parking on match days so get there early. a nice walk across the cricket field to the football pitch but no happy ending for me ,we lost 4-1 😭
