Excellent, what a great job, very pleased with my garden funiture cushions re covered n looking brand new. Alan was so helpful.

We required 8 dining room chairs to be upholstered. We went to see Alan at his shop in Sidcup and he was a pleasure to deal with and very accommodating. He allowed us to take swatches of material home so that we could match the chairs. He re-upholstered the chairs for us in less than a week and the job he did was outstanding. Both my wife and I are extremely satisfied and would not hesitate to recommend him.

We wanted a family hand me down nursing chair recovered. Sent Gary a photo and got a quote straight away which made things nice and easy. Popped into the shop to look at materials and came away with several choices to suit our requirements. The chair was returned in a week and looks stunning in grey chenille. Alan did a fantastic job of reupholstering my dining chairs and making some cushions for me out of the same fabric I bought. He took time to understand what part of the pattern I wanted on the chairs and cushions and he made them match in the way I wanted and they look amazing. I was really particular with the dining chairs, as they were my grandparents, so really wanted to do them justice. I'm so happy with how them came out - thank you Alan! I was looking for an upholsterer to make my broken chair usable again. I rang ‘J Bird and Son’. What exceptional service from making the call to having my chair fixed. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Quick, accommodating, excellent craftsmanship. I was even given advice from Gary about another issue I had with the chairs instead of taking them in and charging me he showed me how to rectify the problem myself.
