Mr Clutch Autocentres

I had an aircon regas here and subsequently had an issue with the aircon having a leak. i took my car back and alun (i think is his name and i believe is the manager) just strikes me as a really honest, helpful guy. i don't usually write reviews but he took the time to diagnose the problem, explained it to me and there was no hard sell or pressure to have work undertaken by them. i would definitely recommend them because he seems to have integrity and that is sadly so rare.

I’ve been taking my car here for years for mot, service and general repairs. brilliant service everytime, won’t go anywhere else. staff are lovely and very helpful

Paid for a full service which was over £200 where they promise to do a full check of your car's condition. no issues were reported. 2 months later went back for the cars mot and it failed for 3 broken suspension springs and worn brakes! when i challenged it they said it must not have been picked up on in the service and they use different methods for measuring brake pads? so either the service wasn't thorough or they don't do the full checks as promised. i got the springs checked elsewhere and they were in fact broken, and the pads weren't a failure just an advisory. i managed to get the springs changed for a lot cheaper than they quoted me as well. make sure you confirm you are getting the service you are paying for and seek alternative quotes on repairs.

Really can't fault the service and price at mr clutch. always very helpfull and always do everything they can for you. would definitely recommend
