Bark Busters Dog Training Derby

First meeting with Lee today, a great start and I now understand how well the dogs have trained me! Looking forward to our next session and progressing to some outside work. In the meantime lots of changes for me to make and things to practice - great advice so far!

This experience has been an absolute revelation for me. Understanding what is causing my dogs behaviour issues and being shown how to deal with them in a natural non-aggressive way has been invaluable. From the very first visit, the implementation of dog psychology made all the difference in the world. Today was only Lee’s second visit, and I am already at the stage where I have taken back control of my dog. I can comfortably allow friends/trades into the house without continual barking, and my nervous dog can now slowly approach them and relax. There is no longer a tug-of-war over my slippers - he releases them immediately!! I can now walk past other dogs and people in the street without having to shorten the lead and hold-on for dear life, apologising profusely to everyone for the noise!! Barkbusters is a great name for this company as this is exactly what Lee has done. Thank you.

We’re impressed by the difference we’ve seen and been able to make within our two dogs following Lee’s visit. By making small changes and following instruction, we’ve been able to better understand why they do certain things and how to stop or alter certain behaviours. Having support for a year helps to feel confident that you can make changes and know someone is on hand to help with any questions or issues big or small. Definitely seen a difference in a small space of time!

We have a 12 week old Cockapoo who absolutely hates being left - daytime, evening, even just leaving the room. We are first time puppy owners so we had no clue what to do. Lee managed to fit us in within a week of us calling and he has been our saviour! He taught us techniques that made a difference right from the first 3 hour appointment. It’s hard, and I can see that the training needs to be maintained to make a difference, but we have already seen results in just 3 days. I feel as though with the hard work and dedication we will be able to resolve the issues and I might be able to leave the house knowing that the puppy is not distressed. I’ve also text Lee since for some additional advice and he is extremely responsive. I look forward to continuing our puppy journey with him.

Lee has been very informative in the process of training our German shepherd pup. We have noticed a huge difference in Maya during the last few weeks with the commands he uses which some are quite simple but very effective 👍 his training is fun and both us and Maya enjoy the training! At the end of the visits Lee gives us a training schedule to continue doing with Maya until the next visit which for me I feel quite proud about as it shows Lee that we have continued the training and he can see that in how Maya is progressing.
