Oak Furnitureland

Brilliant shopping experience here. We'd looked on the website first and easily found what we wanted. The shop was lovely. Full of oak furniture and yet somehow uncluttered. We found the wardrobe straight away on entering. We spoke to a lovely salesman, who dealt with the order very efficiently, sorted out delivery and took the payment. All over and done in less than 20 minutes! I'd give 10 stars if I could!

Bed review - - - On the headboard is a strip of adhesive left from the protective foil. So far, we have not been able to remove the remaining adhesive. I've already wasted an hour trying to peel off. Another problem would be in front of the bottom of the bed where you can see how it was chipped and masked with a little varnish. A total disappointment considering the price. The bed was most likely displayed in a store and then brought to us. The first and last experience with this store. I do not recommend.

Never thought I would see myself shopping inside this place until I was looking for a bed and fell upon one advertised by this company on their Internet site. Thought I would go into store to check out the item for myself. Pleasantly surprised all of the furniture seemed decent quality. The downside was overly eager sales assistant who couldn't seem to get her prices right. I was given the price of the bed which had a knock down price on it already , I told her that it was cheaper on the Internet by nearly £100, and was told then that they hadn't updated their prices. So I would recommend checking the price on their website before purchasing in store.

Absolutely shocking customer service. We ordered a new suite 6 weeks ago. Arranged delivery date and took time off work and disposed of old suite as instructed to make space. Only half of our new furniture has arrived now leaving my family nowhere to sit. The appalling part of it is the customer service offering no support to rectify their fault!! They are advising that we wait another week without furniture taking another days loss of earnings to support their mistake! We spent several days trying to choose a new suite but certainly would not recommend this company.

Oak Furnitureland have beautiful furniture, they have great ranges and a large selection in each range. I can practically plan out my whole house and know that this furniture should last a lifetime with good care. My 1st time ordering, i paid for delivery to a room of my choice, my delivery men hastily dropped the cabinet downstairs in my home, they said it wouldnt fit upstairs to the room of my choice and before i had a say they were practically out the door to be on their way. Unfortunately they had smashed the cabinet and so i was unable to go any further. They replaced it 2 weeks later, but still refused to take it upstairs, so i had to call on a friend to help me get it upstairs (yes of course it fit). 2nd time i ordered, 2 pieces for my front room, this time they didnt even come down the street, i had a call from a lady in their offices that explained the lorry wouldnt fit down the street. After booking time off work i wasnt too pleased, after all the bin lorry gets down the street weekly and they had my address for weeks before coming out to deliver. I asked for a refund and they did eventually refund me. Its very unfortunate because i would really liked to own the furniture and had plans for more. It seems Oak Furnitureland sells great furniture, their staff in store are amazing but everything seems to be let down by the delivery side of the company, perhaps they are overworked because of the popularity of the company.
