Mickleover Golf Club

This weekend is the beer festival & last night, the local Derby band J QUAD were playing. It was a really good night.

Lovely place. Lots of different variety of holes. Not a long course but coarse management placement of the tee is key to a good round. Quite undulating so a electric buggy is a must

We see you asked on the Mickleover online FB page and were told no so we’re confused why you’re put out. " It pays to ask - So I did. A member of my family- cheekily replied No, as a joke. - you, yes you, Mr Owner - did not say. Hence I walked over to find out. My legs are killing me. However - the golf club looks superb. I only comment on bars - check all my reviews. It is not personal, just letting dog walkers know. You could help yourself by putting the information on your door, on posters or in your Facebook posts. I'll gladly buy you a pint to soften your anger. I acknowledged you have women golfers. Good on you. Can't go there with your dog. They are advertising a beer festival but it's an old golfers party - clubbing together. No patio and no inclusive facilities. Give it a miss if you, like me, walk your dog and want a nice friendly drink for your dog and a visit to the bar for a PINT OF BEER. It reminds me of how it used to be - MEN ONLY. OK so they now allow women. Have they forgotten man's best friend is a dog!! WOOF WOOF.

A great golf course. Well kept greens and picturesque holes. The bar staff are friendly and the beers on offer are great. Great on site shop too, took full advantage of the great offers. Will be back again soon.

A very picturesque course and only a little hilly. Reasonably priced golf and refreshments with great, friendly staff. Definitely recommend a visit.
