Derby Arena

Fantastic multifunctional space. Attended a few years ago for a graduation, and also the Guinness world record attempt. Great spacious parking - there can be a fee check before you park. You can download an app to pay parking - but there is also a machine on site. Inside there is a coffee shop (servicing different teas, coffees and cold drinks) and some light snacks. Staff very friendly. Toilets very clean when I have attempted for multiple events.

Derby Arena is Very Nice for Ceremony or Eny Event because I am attending Derby University winter Ceremony 2023 it was a very nice event Arranged by Derby University . But the seating is Very Narrow because they don't have space between chairs. That's why if you sit for a long time you feel very uncomfortable.

Russell Howard was absolutely brilliant, the only thing I would say about the venue on the negative, the seating was too small and to close on the floor area. We have gone from 2m apart to sitting on each others legs. Mens shoulders could not be straight without hunching up. So most had to sit at a diagonal. Been designed this way, and only thought of getting cash in. Smaller than Ryan air seats!

My 1st visit to the arena other than having a COVID injection, we booked tickets to The lost in music tour for our 44th wedding anniversary. We turned up not knowing what to expect and was more than pleasantly surprised, the bar was well run and efficient, the seats well positioned and the entertainment excellent. Anyone who wanted to dance went down to the lower level and thoroughly enjoyed themselves without obscuring other people’s views. Will definitely be back.
