Moorways Sports Village and Water Park

Me and my friend really enjoyed swimming here, where we were entered promptly and the changing rooms are large. The two tunnel slides and sidewinder were amazing experiences, water shooting up at us and the waves also added to this! The staff were so welcoming, although it would be better if the general pool was larger.

I have given this a five although had reservations before I went due to contact issues, however after speaking to the manager Simon these were resolved and he was very professional and showed empathy. We took our little boy in a wheelchair and it was absolutely amazing for him, we struggle to find places that cater for disabled children but this was perfect from the changing place down to the water wheelchair. Our only observations were that the disabled changing room that has the hoist and bed were being used by families but this was not down to the centre. I appreciate not all disabilities are visible but that room is for people who need a hoist and there were plenty of family rooms for able bodied. The hoist wasn't charged but again to someone not returning it to the charging point, perhaps just a couple of polite signs to inform people. So refreshing to have our children catered for big Thank you 😊 will definitely be going again the the very near future and will recommend it on the disabled groups 👏👏👏👏

For the price it's great value. Flumes at the water park are great too I personally love the A slide 😁 (great sensory slide) Wave pool was really good as was like swimming in ocean. Booking was for 4-45pm till 6-15pm on a Thursday evening. Was incredible quite with just about 15 people swimming so mad it fun just to be able to keep going on slides without all the waiting, and lastly I was even able to have a swim with out bumping into people. Will definitely be back.

Great gym facilities and really enjoy the circuits class. It is a shame the lockers use an ancient key system, for a new facility would have expected RFID locker bands linked to your membership card, like that you'd find in competing gyms and leisure centres.

Would like better signed security for the locked bike area. People are encouraged to cycle more to be healthier but our bike security doesn't seem as guaranteed as people who drive. Facilities aren't bad. Staff should probably avoid opening the doors to outside next to the pool. It's cold enough as it is and doesn't make swimming at Moorways any more comfortable. Overall, a great place. Just some minor suggestions.
