Darley Park

On a sunny but chilly spring afternoon, the cherry blossoms, magnolias and the last of the daffodils were beautiful. Lovely spacious park with raised wooden path along the riverbank. Those with walking difficulties should use the car park in Darley Street, but those who would like a little more exercise could use the car park at the end of Darley Park Drive - off the roundabout on Duffield Road.

Great shows and well organised. Security was efficient depending on person checking bags for glass bottles, etc.

Lovely park, great walks along the river, used the cafe, nothing too exciting on the menu but reasonably priced and friendly staff, my furry girls had a doggy ice cream treat!

Has a beautiful garden with a variety of blooming flowers. Cafe for refreshment. A nice place to have a walk.

Fab place to visit. Can walk from city centre or drive to a couple of car parks. Lots of open space, wildlife areas,river walk, cafe toilets, pub at one end, Heritage buildings and huge Hydrangea collection in a peaceful walled garden. Free to visit too!
