Markeaton Park

Really good day out. Lots to do and at a reasonable price. Had a spot of lunch, an ice cream, kids went on the boats and had fun in the park and in the water for a splash about. Take some spare clothes

A great resource for walking children's day out play areas and even a nice cafe. Great garden and ponds. Excellent nature areas. Middle of Derby.

Nice scenery, peaceful and quiet but also has side attraction for kids and also different views for adults. It’s nice for some fresh and cool breeze and also had a fake festival activities going on the day we were there. It was lively. So many spots for cool pictures too if you are a picture freak😉.

Easily accessible with a huge car park. (Pay and display)The park is dog friendly and has lots of facilities for different sports. Perfect for walking the dog and letting the kids burn off some steam. 🙃

Great place to visit for a gentle stroll, taking the family out for a lovely picnic, paddle on the boat or walking your doggies. This place is massive and has it all: car park to the front (can pay by card - boooonus), massive fields for running around, playing ball, catch, flying kite, a small lake where you can rent a boat and go on a romantic sail 🥰 cafe and sitting benches with children's play area, little stream running across it... What more could you want. Very well maintained, clean and looked after. Definitely worth a visit! 🥰
